Most commercial websites utilized by small to medium sized companies use an outside webmaster to monitor and maintain the website. Usually the knowledge base is not large enough or already spread too thin for the efficient website monitoring and maintenance. RLPG will only monitor websites that we have designed and constructed or that meet a minimum set of construction guidelines. We will review a site at no-charge to see if we will maintain it. A fee for upgrading a site will be quoted after the review, if the site does not met our minimum standards. We offer several choices of monitoring for our clients.
A daily check of the website for DNS service, function, link connectivity, and response to all webmaster e-mail. Webmaster e-mail is responded to within 48 hours, any webmaster e-mail that needs redirecting is forwarded to the correct area of the client's website e-mail. Reloading from storage data or ISP corrections are requested and monitored; the client is notified of both the error and its correction.
Monitoring and Maintenance:
All of the basic package services. In addition client's website is upgraded with changes in html programming language coding as needed to keep it's content correct. (ie: addresses, phone numbers etc. This does not cover the addition of new information or pages) At this level a current mirror copy of the website is kept live offline on one of our servers and is ready to be uploaded anytime should the ISP suffer a complete or partial loss of the primary website. Client's Website is "Direct Linked" to the rlpg.com website hub and all client web promotions reflect in each connected website to increase and maintain traffic.
Not all clients want to deal with their website, some prefer to have an outside firm handle the web interaction. Whether a client wants this service full time or just to cover illness or vacations in their own staff, that is a service we provide. Daily support is done at a rate of $45.00 per hour (Our regular rate is $75.00 per hour). All e-mail and orders are read and entered into a client supplied data base template (RLPG can also construct one). The results are Faxed or mailed to the client for distribution and response. Any e-mail replies from the client are returned to us and the answer is sent on to the customer.
