I've known Pete McCormick for 8 years and have worked with Pete and Foster on a couple of projects. If Corel 8 is your program suite, then this is the book for you. They also do a Corel seminar that is held throughout the country - catch their seminar in your area.

Makes use of the new features in Photoshop 5. Special type effects without using after market plug-ins. Many different effects for type.
This book has four parts that build upon each other with increasingly complex techniques and combinations. It covers the use of eight photoshop tools: Eraser, Pencil, Airbrush, Paintbrush, Rubber Stamp, Smudge, Sharpen/Blur, and Dodge/Burn/Sponge.
